EDIFY 1
“Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good
for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace
to those who hear.”
- Ephesians 4:29 (NASB)
*
EDIFY 1 is a ministry of encouragement.
The word you share might benefit another, encourage spiritual progress, be a blessing and/or give grace to those who hear it.
*
Would you like to share an encouraging word, blog post, affirmation, song, poem, Scripture or lesson with us?

This morning, as I face this incredible God-blessed day, I am ever mindful of just how much we need the LORD. We need Him more than that which we think we need and can’t do without – social media, titles and acclaim, that go-along-and-get-along job or relationship. We need Him more than our greatest desire. And to need Him more than anything else is the beginning of being changed in the spirit.

How are you doing? Are you growing? Being encouraged? Living well in Christ? Prayerfully, you are well, you are being edified daily and you are growing abundantly in grace.
This month, I decided to list a few deep thought blog posts from some of my favorite authors. Their messages just might resonate with you and stir up what is inside of you.
Blessings and Love,
Kim

Over the last few months, I have engaged in a personal spirit-to-Spirit restoration and rebuilding process, allowing God to deconstruct me and build me from the inside out. I have had to face the crumbling structures in my life, the relationships that were not firmly grounded, and the wreckage of “old” foundations that were hazardous to my spiritual health. I have been led into deeper and deeper conversations with the LORD during this temple building process. But my temple building continues…still. I am now in a boot camp of sorts, or that’s what I like to call it.
I share this with you all as part of the Spirit-ual Fitness program I am engaged in. God has called me to go to the extreme for Him. To give up my something for His bigger everything. And it is this that I want to encourage you in. Be willing to give up (surrender) your something for God’s bigger everything. Let Him construct a beautiful temple called YOU, built on the foundation of Christ.
Taking Courage in the Spirit,
Kim

Did you know that there are tons of messages all around us? They are meant for our learning. They help us to find reason, gain clarity, and comprehend that which may be difficult to understand. With that in mind, I call your attention to the following quotes. I pray that they speak to you right where you are.
Love you in Christ,
Kim

There is nothing quite like the Word of God. It is our constant source of knowledge and strength, and it is our wellspring of hope. As such, please know that I am praying for you, even now. I am praying that you would achieve the impossible through Christ. It is my hope that Matthew 17:20-21 would inspire you to move mountains.
“For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.”
May you walk in the Light always and know the gracious touch of our Father all the days of your life.
Praying Without Ceasing,
Kim

“Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever,
For wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs;
He removes kings and establishes kings;
He gives wisdom to wise men
And knowledge to men of understanding.
It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And the light dwells with Him.
To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s matter.”
