INSPIRED: A New Year and A New Season for Change

What new joys and wonders will the new year bring? What hopes and dreams have yet to be imagined? What grand adventures are being prepared for your life? My life? While these questions cannot be answered at this time, what I can say assuredly is that this new year promises to bring a new season for change.

As 2010 draws to a close and 2011 approaches, I am reminded of a few meaningful quotes that inspired me this year, encouraging me to walk in my purpose, to stay focused on my course, to serve with compassion, and to pursue the Most High God. I lovingly share some of these quotes with you in hopes that they will speak to your heart and serve as a brilliant light in your new year and in your new season of change.

A Prayer of Blessing for the New Year
Dearest Father, Your love and grace are beyond our comprehension and yet they are so freely given. Oh, that we might finally understand and believe! We thank You for the favor You have shown us and for the blessings You have poured into our lives. We desire to grow closer to you in the coming year and to draw so near that our end is just the beginning. We ask that You take us over completely and direct our steps, as we learn to truly surrender and to live with a holy passion. We seek only Your glory. Bless us that we might be Your blessing to others. With hearts prepared to worship, we bow before You with praise in our mouths and awe in our spirits. In the precious name of Jesus, the One and Only. Amen.
