An Introduction to Pushing Past Your Past

There are so many things in each of our lives that shape us and influence the way we are, the way we think, the decisions we make, the style of communication we use, the patterns we rely on to deal with conflict, and so on.

But what if somewhere along the lines of our personal growth and development, we realized that perhaps the way we are is a bit dysfunctional?

What if we realized that not only has our dysfunction afforded us a distorted sense of normalcy, but it has also contributed to a poor or inadequate sense of emotional, mental, and/or spiritual health in our family life.

If, in fact, that was or is the case, wouldn’t each one of us want to do everything in our power to move beyond the dysfunction?

This week in the Pushing Past Your Past video workshop series, T. Suzanne Eller will lead us to the door that leads to freedom from the past.

Straight from My Heart: As you and I continue to make preparations to venture down the path toward freedom, it will be important to keep an open mind, as well as an open spirit. It will also be important that we allow the hidden truths within our hearts to come to the surface. Once that is done, we can reveal those “hidden truths” to God and trust in His compassion, His love, and His grace, which will lead us to real wholeness and true healing.
