(From the Video Workshop Series on Pushing Past Your Past)
In Chapter 1 of T. Suzanne Eller’s book, The Mom I Want to Be – Rising Above Your Past to Give Your Kids a Great Future, she begins by painting a picture of her past. She introduces the painful strokes and “flesh patterns” that influenced the canvas of her life.
Chapter 2, much like chapter 1, tells a story of pain, struggles, and hurts. It reveals a story of brokenness. And yet, it tells a story, not of defeat, but of survival.

Straight from My Heart:
The path toward real freedom is not without its share of pain and discomfort. However, it is in facing your hurts that real freedom can be found. As you continue on your journey, I pray that you will allow the peace of Christ to be your traveling companion. May it grant you a calmness in your spirit and an assurance in your soul.
