Table Talk Tuesdays…Dry Bones Dancing by Tony Evans

Dry Bones Dancing: (Quote from Tony Evans): “In the Bible, dancing is frequently associated with celebration and rejoicing. God intends for your spirit to dance; He intends for spiritual rejoicing to be the norm in your life and for dryness to be the exception…”

Table Talk (The Chat): What does it take to be a people who can and do celebrate God with their entire being? To be a people who can unwaveringly rejoice in the glory of God? It requires love, obedience, faith, and intimacy. When these are present, nothing can keep God’s people from being outrageous worshippers.

Resurrecting Your Spiritual Passion (Scripture Reference): Ezekiel 37:12-14

Table Talk Discussion Questions:

1) “How warm is your love affair with God at this time?”

2) “Describe what evidence you see – in your own life or in the lives of other believers you know – of the truth of this statement: ‘Disobedience creates distance, and distance creates dryness.'”

3) Do you expect God to “open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves,” in truth?

4) “What is more prevalent in your life – spiritual dryness or spiritual rejoicing?”
