Love’s Delight

Can we love in word apart from action? Can we speak of having a heart for God and yet still turn away from others? Can we tell the world about showing compassion and extending grace and yet somehow forget to care when faced with a situation of need? Can we be followers of Love Himself (1 John 4:8) and still fail to delight in the things that delight Him most?

Love’s message is such that it teaches us to delight in those things that are pleasing to God. It influences us to find great pleasure and enjoyment in loving Him and in being true to His word. It also bears in mind the importance of serving others (Matthew 22:37-38).

Reflection: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

Introspection: Are you aware of what delights God (of what makes for Love’s delight)?

His Word. Life Relevance. Holy Direction.
