In the Direction of Praise

Woman with Arms in the Air

Where does your praise come from?

Is it purposed toward God?

Does it focus all of who you are on all of who He is?

Is the praise that you render presented as a gift of glory and a blessing of love to the Most High?

Does it move you on a course or pathway set for the holiest of intimacies with the LORD?

Is it meant for your pleasure or for the pleasure of God?

Does your praise make clearer the picture of worship and what worshipping is all about?

Are you guided in the ways of praise by the Holy Spirit?

Challenge: Ask yourself these questions as you step forward and face each day.

Scripture Reflections: Psalm 150:6, 147:1, 100:2 and 4, 95:1-6, 34:1; Hebrews 13:15; John 4:23-24
