When the Healer Says Come

“…come to me…” – Matthew 11:28

Everyone is dealing with something. But how well they are dealing with it is the question.

Everyone is searching for something. But do they know what it is they are truly seeking?

Everyone is looking for stability, whether in their home life, in their relationships, in their professional endeavors, or within themselves. But do they know how to secure the very stability they long for?

Everyone is in need of a healing, of a restoration of wholeness, in some capacity. But not all know how to find that healing. Not all know where to look for the Healer.

But when the Healer says, “Come…”

“If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.”

The Healer. He is the One who is the answer to every question. He is the solution to every problem. He can deal with every issue, every burden. He can find every avenue of deliverance because He is deliverance Himself. He can bring about and be the stabilizing factor in every dilemma. He can restore and make well every broken or empty facet that exists in our lives. All we need to do is come.

Come. A simple word. A simple action. A simple hope. His divine request. Our perfect answer.

Spiritual Life Fitness Challenge: Define the verb come. Once you have done this, word a prayer to the LORD regarding answering His call. Let Him know of your need for His healing and deliverance.

  1. “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” One word filled with healing, filled with life. The Holy Spirit beckoned me to “come” at a healing service in 2010. I went. God healed. Won’t you come to Jesus?
