Title: No More Dragons: Get Free from Broken Dreams, Lost Hope, Bad Religion, and Other Monsters

Author: Jim Burgen

About the Book:Becoming a dragon is a dangerously subtle process.

You make a long chain of bad choices. The chain gradually wraps around you. Layer by layer, it begins to take on the aspect of scales. One day you glance at yourself in the mirror and a monster is staring back at you. You aren’t who you used to be. You aren’t who you want to be. You’re not who you were created and designed to be. Instead, you’re a dragon.”

Review: No More Dragons: Get Free from Broken Dreams, Lost Hope, Bad Religion, and Other Monsters is a book that everyone should read. It’s honest and thought-provoking in such a way that the drama of life, church experiences, and beguiling strongholds are revealed. Burgen does an amazing job of drawing readers in by discussing his wayward path. He clearly reveals his foolish choices, the attitudes and obstacles that he has dealt with, and his ultimate cry for help. A cry for help that we all come to if we truly seek to be “undragoned” by Jesus Christ.

This book does a wonderful job of uncovering a message of hope for those who are broken among us.
