When you hear these words, what immediately comes to mind…
What is it that you do upon waking up in the mornings?
What’s the very first thought that pops into your head?
Do you think about how the LORD woke you up, granting you yet another day to experience His glory, or do you focus on the thought that, “It’s time to make the doughnuts?”
Do you think about where you might be able to see God, hear God, and know God in your day, or do you instead think about all the responsibilities that you have?
Do you praise God for delivering you from your yesterdays, or do you perseverate on what went wrong everyday of your life so far?
Do you excitedly look forward to spending time studying the Word of God, or do you make excuses about why you “just don’t have any time” to get into the Bible?
Do you spend time praying, or do you spend time complaining?
Do you awake with a smile on your face and in your heart because of what Jesus did for you and for all, or do you grimace, thinking only of how much you have sacrificed, given up for others, lost, etc.?
When you hear these words, what immediately comes to mind?
