In This Minute

A.M. Reflection: In this minute, I celebrate the fact that I have a God who loves me. He loves me with a greater love than any other I have ever known. He loves me when I am down and when I am up. He loves me when I stumble and when I succeed. He loves me when I choose the road less traveled and when I select the road that is well worn. He makes time for me in every moment. He never wavers with His steady presence or with His abundant grace. His heart for me is true, pure, and wholly committed. He sees me. He hears me. He is aware of my every need. He never turns away from me. I am in awe of Him. In all the world, there is nothing that compares to my God.

Encouragement: Go back and read my reflection again. Apply it to your own life. Find yourself in the experience.

Question: What is your In This Minute praise?

Challenge:  Over the next seven days, choose seven random moments to stop and write down your #gratefulheart thoughts. Share them with at least one other person via a blog post, an email, a phone call, an Instagram or Facebook post, a tweet, a direct conversation, or a personal letter or note. Watch what happens!

In This Minute is a #gratefulheart campaign meant to encourage others to look very closely at their relationship with God and identify what makes it special. It affords each individual with a moment in time to pause and praise.

Beautiful Mess (PTBS – 6)

A Phone Tree Bible Study based on Beautiful Mess: Motherhood for Every Moment by Sherry Surratt and Tracey Eyster

As much as women desire to be mothers, sometimes the challenges and circumstances are not what they ever expected.

Phone Tree Bible Study Focus Topic: Week 6: Days 3 &4 – >Pouring & Keep Pouring!

The Beautiful (Resonating Quotes from the Book): “Many of us reach a point in our day, or in our lives, when we’ve grown weary or when other voices pull us away from what God has called us to do in our mom lives. We sometimes think if we don’t do the daily, seemingly pointless mothering tasks that influence who our children become, what will the world really lose? So we leave the jars half empty, too tired to continue to pour.

Mom, when you’re weary, stop and pray for God to give you the strength and wisdom you need for today. Allow His perfect grace and mercy to reinforce you at all times but certainly when your best just doesn’t seem good enough.”

The Mess (The Takeaway from the Lesson): Pouring of ourselves, as mothers, into the lives of those charged to us is no small task. It requires that we give and then that we keep on giving. This giving or rather this pouring often goes without recognition or even a simple thank you. Still, we have such a treasured task as mothers. We have countless opportunities to serve, where we can allow the LORD to use motherhood as a ministry to bring Himself glory.

The Beautiful Mess Assignment for the Week: Write a thank you note to God, expressing your gratitude about being given the gift of motherhood. Tell Him what you have learned from engaging in this unique ministry and what it means to you that you have Him as LORD over your personal mom ministry.

The Scripture Reflection for the Week: Philippians 4:13

The Question: When was the last time you asked the LORD to pour into your life and what did you ask Him to pour?

If you have secured your copy of this title, go ahead and read Week 6 in its entirety. Read all of the referenced Scripture material and answer the questions.
