It All Comes Down to This, Part 1

Cross in Chilean Desert
A. M. Thoughts: When all is said and done, it comes down to this for me.

The LORD…

– Created the heavens and the earth

– Is the First and the Last

–  Is not man that He should lie

– Gave His only begotten Son

– Is not willing that any should perish

– Is the Way, the Truth and the Life

– Will never leave or forsake us

– Will make a way out of temptation

– Has all authority

– Is love

By His stripes, we are healed.

What does it come down to for you?

Challenge: Write down the things you have come to know about the LORD. Allow Scripture to guide you.

Scripture Reflection: Jeremiah 29:13

About the Book: “Show your children how much God loves them and cares for them by learning about who He is. This beautiful book teaches the many names of God-and the many reasons we can trust Him. Forty names and titles of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are explained and shown through Bible stories, along with application for the lives of children. I Am will help children develop an understanding of God’s character so they can learn to trust Him more.

This book includes 40 of the names and descriptive titles for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as shown throughout the Bible. Each story features Scripture verses, a prayer, and a short section about that name and its significance in kid-friendly language that children can comprehend. For example:

Jehovah Tsuri: the God who helps me
Jehovah Rophe: the God who heals me
Immanuel: the God who is with us
Rabbi: the God who teaches me

This wonderful introduction to the many names of God will help your children get to know God as all powerful, loving Savior, Healer, Creator, and so many other ways that show He is completely awesome and trustworthy.”

Phone Tree Review: Absolutely outstanding! I love this resource. It is colorful, informative, and engaging. The illustrations are so modern, and the whole book layout is quite stunning. Everything is so appealing that you will quickly find yourself wanting to go from page to page just to see the wonderful work. Not only that, the content is so rich.

I genuinely adored the stories, the descriptive titles associated with God, the pronunciation guide, the affirmative statements about the LORD, the Scripture references, the prayers, the present day application scenarios, and the “learn more” and “what happened next” additions.

Special Comments: This resource should be in every church library, children’s bible class and, home that exists. It is a great tool to reference and work with. I believe kids will be more than excited to learn from this book. I would love to see a workbook, video and/or affirmation calendar to go along with this project.
