A Phone Tree Bible Study – Introduction and Assignment 1
Greetings and salutations!
Today marks the official start of our new online Bible study. Our study, STEADFAST & UNMOVABLE, is based off Lauren Chandler’s book called Steadfast Love. In this study, we will both explore and dissect Psalm 107. We will venture to see how this psalm speaks to each of our lives, just as it spoke to the people of old.
This week, we will focus on reading Psalm 107. In fact, I would like to encourage you to read a different Bible translation each day of this week. You may use Bible Gateway or Blue Letter Bible to reference the various translations. You are free to choose your own reading plan, however, I will give an example, so that you are clear about the assignment.
Assignment 1: Read Psalm 107 each day this week.
– Sunday, August 16, 2020 – Read your favorite Bible translation of Psalm 107.
– Monday, August 17, 2020 – Read the AMPLIFIED BIBLE translation of Psalm 107.
– Tuesday, August 18, 2020 – Read THE VOICE translation of Psalm 107.
– Wednesday, August 19, 2020 – Read the NEW KING JAMES VERSION translation of Psalm 107.
– Thursday, August 20, 2020 – Read the CHRISTIAN STANDARD BIBLE translation of Psalm 107.
– Friday, August 21, 2020 – Read THE MESSAGE translation of Psalm 107.
– Saturday, August 22, 2020 – Read the NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION translation of Psalm 107.
Hopefully, by spending quality time in Psalm 107 this week, you will walk away with a greater appreciation for the LORD and how He tends to His children. Seek to see His heart and to understand His nature.
