Table Talk: In-your-face realities, along with blatant social media campaigns spouting loose, immoral living, surround us, hemming us in and bombarding us with carnality. The noise is so loud and disturbing that it becomes more and more difficult to focus our attention, let alone our hearts, on the God of heaven. And yet, we must. We must close our senses off to those invaders of holiness and center our total being on the LORD.

Reflections: What does it take to concentrate one’s mind, heart, soul and life on God? The answer…God. It takes God as Father, Son and Spirit to focus and concentrate one’s total being on Him. The challenge for most is coming to the intentional decision to release all of the distractions (idols) in order to gain more of the Holy One. Once the decision is made, however, life is never the same.
